Mario Zanot
Alterna l’attività di regista e sceneggiatore a quella di visual effects supervisor per il cinema. È membro dell’European Film Academy. Nel 2004 Terzani gli concede la sua ultima intervista, che diventa il documentario Anam il Senzanome. Nel 2007 intervista nel carcere militare di Phnom Penh uno dei leader dei khmer rossi, Duch, sotto processo per la tortura e lo sterminio di 17 mila persone che diventa il film Il macellaio di Phnom Penh, un’agghiacciante testimonianza delle insondabili crudeltà dell’animo umano. Collabora con i più importanti registi del cinema italiano. Con Daniele Vicari vince il David di Donatello per il film Diaz, don’t clean up this blood. Nel 2022 realizza come produttore e regista il docufilm Tiziano Terzani, il viaggio della vita, attualmente nei cinema.
