Amir Issaa
Nato a Roma 36 anni fa da padre egiziano e madre italiana. Voce influente dell’hip-hop italiano divenuto testimonial dei nuovi cittadini, ha realizzato oltre cento laboratori nelle scuole per scardinare con le rime del rap i pregiudizi alla base delle discriminazioni di ogni genere. Nel 2006, con Straniero nella mia nazione, ha messo in rima le sue difficoltà di cittadino italiano scambiato per immigrato. Nel 2012 ha realizzato il video-appello Caro presidente, per invitare Giorgio Napolitano ad affrontare il tema dello ius soli. Ha ottenuto la nomination ai David di Donatello per la colonna sonora del film Scialla! È ora reduce da un tour in America, dove ha presentato il suo libro Vivo per Questo (Chiarelettere 2017).
