Una graphic novel storica sulla tragedia della deportazione, un prezioso lavoro di ricostruzione, che ha l’obiettivo di stimolare una memoria consapevole anche da parte dei lettori più giovani. Dedicata alla storia di Anna Ragusa Venuti, questa graphic novel ci consegna un’eredità importante. Testimonianza viva di ciò che è stata la deportazione nella seconda guerra mondiale, ci sfida alla comprensione e alla riflessione sul sistema concentrazionario. Trasmettere il ricordo di quell’esperienza alle generazioni più giovani con gli strumenti di un linguaggio artistico affine alle loro modalità di fruizione può costituire un allarme e un monito, valido per il presente e per il futuro, contro il meccanismo mentale che ha portato alla folle rottura di umanità di Auschwitz.

FABIO BABICH Fumettista, dal 2015 fa parte dello staff di disegnatori della testata fantasy Dragonero, della Sergio Bonelli Editore. Quel pane nascosto (qudulibri 2024), realizzato insieme a Maurizio Mattiuzza, è un progetto editoriale promosso dal Comune di Gradisca d’Isonzo nell’ambito di #IORISPETTO.

CARLOTTA DEL BIANCO Regista e attrice, ha lavorato con compagnie teatrali a Milano e a Roma con maestri come Gigi Dall’Aglio, Rick Cluchey, Mamadou Dioume e Bruno Stori. Fa parte del collettivo artistico “Spazio a colori”, che realizza spettacoli e laboratori didattici per bambini e ragazzi delle scuole del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
